Last summer, Nicholas (23) set the Derbyshire League alight, topping the division two wicket charts (61 wickets at 12.36) whilst finishing 7th on the run charts (580 runs at 44.61). He subsequently returned to Western Australia and is currently joint-second alongside James Boyland and behind Lancashire star Luis Reece on the wicket charts with 42 wickets at 16.83 including a 10-wicket match haul against Mount Lawley (6-45 and 4-36). The former Western Australia Under-19 State seamer will be hoping to replicate his success in 2015 following Ambergate's promotion to division one.
