Hook (19) is towering right-arm seamer from the Wairarapa in New Zealand’s Central Districts province. Standing 6’4”, Hook has been involved with the CD Under-17 and 19 training squads and the Wairarapa Senior Men’s side that compete in the national Hawke Cup competition. Hook, who was a stand-out for his Wairarapa College 1st XI, has since graduated and now plays senior club cricket for Landsdowne and has impressed in all formats, particularly the One and Two-Day competitions. He spent the 2014 season playing in the UK for Burghill and Tillington. He took 21 wickets at 23.14 in Division 2 of the Worcestershire County League, but was an absolute revelation with the bat hitting 499 runs at 55.44 including four half-centuries. Hook is now eager to impress for B&T once again in 2015.
