Drakes Huddersfield Leage club Clayton West have signed University of Western Australia seamer Sam Armstrong.
The 24-year-old seamer has played 48 First-Grade and 46 Second-Grade games in the Premier WACA District Competition. He has taken close to 80 wickets across the top two grades since his senior debut in 2006/07.
Armstrong has represented Western Australia through the age-groups and played for grade clubs Mount Lawley and most recently the University of Western Australia.
A qualified Physiotherapist, Armstrong has signed for Clayton West, who will be hoping to gain immediate promotion from the Championship, after suffering relegation from the top flight last summer.
