Dabengwa heads to Danish KB - 30/10/15

Kjøbenhavns Boldklub sign former international all-rounder Keith Dabengwa ahead of their 2016 season.

Dabengwa is a left-arm spin bowling all-rounder who has represented Zimbabwe in 48 matches (2005-10) and has played 271 domestic matches across all three formats.

For the past 3 seasons Dabengwa has played in Scotland for WDCU side Ferguslie, and in 2014 excelled with 780 runs at 86.67, including 3 hundreds and a high score of 184.

In the same season he also took 27 wickets at 9.78, with an economy of 2.93 and strike rate of 20.04.

Dabengwa featured prominently for Zimbabwe between 2006-2010, before being dropped from the side. Eager to fight back, he then enjoyed his most prolific first-class season to date, hitting 610 runs at 44.57.

He continues to play in Zimbabwean domestic cricket and last season took his first-class tally to 4,581 runs at 28.45 alongside 143 wickets at 39.80.

Dabengwa will be heading to the oldest club in Denmark, Kjøbenhavns Boldklub, and hopes to impress in their Elite side next summer
