Ghumman gears up for Glendermott return - 02/11/16

GLENDERMOTT re-sign prolific young batsman Azeem Ghumman for their North West Cricket Union campaign.

Azeem Ghumman (25) is a prolific young batsman who burst onto first-class scene as a 16-year-old in December 2007.

The former Pakistan Under-19 and 'A' skipper boasts impressive domestic figures since 2007. To date, he has scored 3,760 runs at 31.07 including a highest score of 199.

Ghamman, who skippers Hyderabad region has enjoyed five previous stints in the UK. In 2015 he starred in Northern Ireland for Ballymena, finishing amongst the leading run scorers in the NCU Premier Division with 644 runs at 53.67.

In 2016, this time to play for North West Cricket Union side Glendermott in the NWCU Championship division, Ghumman racked up 524 runs at 65.50 alongside 23 wickets at 10.30.

The Pakistani run machine will return to Glendermott for their 2017 campaign in the North West Cricket Union's Championship Division.
