Great Bedwyn come up trumps with Hart - 30/01/15

James HartGREAT BEDWYN have signed promising batsman James Hart ahead of their 2015 WEPL season.

Hart (18) has spent the past four years playing 1st XI cricket at Scotch College in Adelaide. He has struck 300-400 runs per season during this period and skippered the side in his final year.

He has previously played junior cricket at Sturt District Cricket Club and has subsequently returned, starting in the C Grade, albeit is hoping to progress swiftly up the grades.

Hart is a diligent and highly capable young man who has demonstrated time and again through his application to his sport and studies. He has been awarded College Colours for Academic Achievement, which placed him in the top ten students at Scotch. His recent completion of schooling culminated in the attainment of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank score placing him in the top 5% of the state.

Hart represented the Scotch first teams in Basketball, Football and Cricket – earning full Sport Colours for the latter two, in which he also acted as captain. He made a significant contribution to cricket in-particular, chasing the culture within the Scotch program.

He is now hoping to impress for Great Bedwyn in the Wiltshire Division of the West of England Premier League.
