Houghton & Thurby return for Northern Cape's Pedi - 09/04/16

HOUGHTON AND THURNBY have re-signed South African first-class batting all-rounder Kagisho Pedi.

Pedi (26) played several fixtures for Northern Cape this summer, following his move from Free State. He has played 8 domestic games to include 3 first-class, 4 List-A and 1 T20 match to date.

The talented batsman and skillful medium pacer has also represented the South African Colts and Emerging Players sides and is a key performer for CUT is Bloemfontein's Premier League.

Pedi will return for his third stint abroad in 2016, following seasons with Cheshire County League (Division 2) club Irby (34 wickets at 21.23and 357 runs at 18.78) and Houghton and Thurnby last season (563 runs at 31.28 and also took 22 wickets at 28.45).

The South African is looking to make a big impact on his return as he continues his rise towards full professional honours.
