Monton and Weaste Chairman Gary Brown has expressed his delight over Ash's signing.

"Ash's record speaks for itself. To have him playing at Welbeck Road makes a real statement of our intentions for next season.

We will be going all out to win every competition we enter. Ash's signing also reflects well on the brand new Pennine League and we cannot wait to getting going next April at the start of this new exciting era".
