Nettleham re-engage record-breaking Rhett - 24/09/14

Rhett Bridgens 2 NETTLEHAM have re-signed last season's record-breaking recruit Rhett Bridgens for the 2015 season.

The South African all-rounder became the first player in the club’s history to score over 1,000 runs (1,027) and take over 100 wickets (105) in all formats in a season.

He starred in the Premier Division of the Lincolnshire County League, finishing second on the wicket charts with 68 at 14.07, alongside a batting average of 23.

It was a record-breaking season for the 21-year-old, who had previously enjoyed overseas stints with Scottish club St. Michaels (2012) and Sussex side Crawley (2013).

Fresh from his Nettleham exploits, he has subsequently re-signed and is hoping to acheive even more success in 2015.
