Sleaford seal McIntosh return - 16/12/14

Tim McIntoshSLEAFORD will see the return of prolific kiwi run machine Tim McIntosh for their 2015 campaign.

The former Blackcaps opener has spent the past two summers with the Lincolnshire outfit and, un-surprisingly, has has been an absolute stand-out.

In 2013, his exploits (1,203 runs at 109.36) guided his side to the title, then last season, he churned out another 1,323 runs at 95.40 plus 52 wickets at 15.73 for good measure.

During his two-year period with Sleaford he struck 9 centuries and 12 fifties in his 40 league innings, alongside 70 wickets at 19.05.

McIntosh played 17 Test matches for New Zealand hitting 854 runs at 27.54, including two hundreds and four fifties.

He boasts one of the most impressive domestic records in New Zealand, with 7,169 runs averaging 34.13 at first-class level with 19 hundreds and 33 fifties - one of the best conversion rates in New Zealand first-class history.

McIntosh will be hoping to replicate his performances during his third stint for Sleaford in 2015.
