STOURPORT have re-signed talented batsman Kevin Renecke following promotion to Division 1 of the WCL.

Renecke (20) was a key compenent of Stourport's promotion last summer churning out 1,147 runs with an average of 95.58

His tally included an incredible double century (204*) against Malvern.

Consequently Renecke came 1st and 3rd respectively in the Cricx batting averages and aggregates charts last summer.

His season with Stourport was on the back of his 2015 summer playing for Brooklands in Division 1 of the Cheshire County League and striking 513 runs at 30.17.

Renecke first hit the headlines in 2010 for Gauteng in his native South Africa during a 50-over match in the CSA Under-15 week, hitting an unbeaten 153* for the Gauteng Under-15A team.

Unsurprisingly Stourport were keen to re-sign Renecke for 2016 following their promition in the Worcester County League last season.
