THAME TOWN have signed talented all-rounder Siphamandla Dapo following their 2015 promotion to the Home Counties League.

Dapo (25) is a strong top-order batsman and brisk medium pacer who has played 46 matches over the past three seasons for Easterns in South African domestic cricket.

Dapo broke into first-class cricket in October 2013, following his exploits at the CSA Forth Hare Rural Academy (2009-11). He had previous to this represented Eastern Province through the age-groups (Under-15s to U19s), to include the Khaya Majola (Coke) Week in 2007.

He was part of Eastern Province Academy and represented Eastern Cape at the South African games.

More recently, over 19 first-class matches, Dapo has scored 478 runs at 19.12, including 3 half-centuries. He has been used sparingly with the ball, with only 4 wickets and best bowling figures of 2-25.

Dapo will play his first stint abroad for Thame Town who, last summer, were promoted into the Home Counties Cricket League.
