The Browns Sam Williams blasts 190 for Waterlooville - 29/06/15

Sam WilliamsKENSINGTON DISTRICT young gun Samuel Williams blasted a brilliant 190 for Waterlooville on Saturday.

The Browns bat, who predominantly plays second grade in the SACA Grade Competition, struck his maiden century for his English club in their 191-run win over Totton and Eling.

Batting at number 3, Williams came in at 17-1 and shared a 131-run partnership with opening bat Tim Jackson (44), before the latter was dismissed. The left-hander was eventually out for 190 with the score on 306-7.

His Waterlooville side racked up 354 runs all out in 49.2 overs. In reply, Totton and Eling lost regular wickets and were dismissed for 163 in 42.5 overs.

The win leaves Williams' Waterlooville flying high at the top of the Southern Premier Cricket League Division 3 table - 20 points clear of Trojans in second.
