Neill Jordan (25) is a tall quick bowling all-rounder who was an integral part of the South African Rural Squad that won the Future Cup in Kimberley early 2015. The Rural side also played matches against the South African Academy and University sides in August 2014.

Jordan’s elevation to the national Rural side was courtesy of his exploits for club-side Zululand (2010-14) in the KwaZulu-Natal Premier League and also the KZN Country Districts side (2012-14).

Jordan has also excelled abroad, namely in 2013 when finishing as the second leading wicket-taker to fellow CricX client Kiran Adhav in the strong East Anglian Premier League. Playing for Cambridge Granta, Jordan picked up 46 wickets at 18.67 including two 5-wicket hauls, all with an economy rate of 3.08.

He returned in 2015 and, was a stand-out for Broseley in their maiden season in the Shropshire County League top flight. Jordan blitzed the league, topping the Premier Division wicket-charts taking 71 wickets at 14.61 - 21 wickets ahead of second place. He also churned out 563 runs at 29.63 to show his all-round ability.

The towering, quick bowling all-rounder has been out of action since the UK 2015 season, but is now back to business for his South African summer in 2016/17. He is thereafter, eager to return to Northern shores once more in 2017 and will surely be a player to consider given his exploits home and abroad.
