Conrad Louth (28) is a strong Minor Counties batsman who dominated the Lincolnshire County Board ECB Premier League for over a decade. Playing for Boston (2004-07), Woodhall Spa (2008-09) and Bourne (2010-15), Louth is the leading run-scorer in the competition’s history.

Over 217 first team matches, he scored 6,917 runs at 38.01 with 45 fifties and 10 centuries. He finished amongst the leading run-scorers every season since 2006. He has enjoyed several prolific seasons, most notable in 2006 (609 runs at 46.85), 2008 (598 runs at 59.80), 2012 (766 runs at 58.92) and 2015 (800 runs at 57.14).

Louth broke a number of records throughout his career in Lincolnshire, with perhaps the highlight, a brilliant 77-ball 174 for Bourne against his former club Woodhall Spa in the Winkworth Cup (Lincolnshire’s T20 competition).

Louth has also been a stand-out for the Minor County, featuring for Lincolnshire 42 times across the three formats dating back to his debut in 2008. He has excelled over the past four seasons in the Championship hitting 299 runs at 37.37 (2013), 176 runs at 58.66 (2014), 242 runs at 26.88 (2015) and 471 runs at 58.88 (2016). In addition, he starred in the Unicorns Knock-Out Trophy in 2014 averaging 64, with a highest score of 94*. Louth was also County trialist back in 2009, playing three 2nd XI matches for Northamptonshire.

The Lincolnshire legend relocated to Reading in 2016 and played for Stoke Green. He impressed once again hitting 555 runs at 39.64, helping the club to promotion. However, Louth is on the move once again in 2017, having relocated to Portsmouth for work and this year has been back to his emphatic ways for Roebucks. He has racked up 707 runs at 58.92 including a mammoth 156 against a strong Rodmersham.

A player of this class and pedigree would make a great signing for a UK club in the 2018 summer.
