Harry Stephens (22) is quite the prospect who has spent the past three seasons with the Unicorns in the Second XI Trophy and T20 competitions. He has played 34 matches for the Unicorns and has impressed, particularly during the 2015 summer averaging 59.66 and 19.27 with bat and ball respectively in 6 Trophy matches.

Stephens is a genuine all-rounder – an explosive opening/top order batsman and wicket-taking off-spin bowler. He has also excelled for Berkshire in Minor Counties cricket dating back to his debut in 2013. He boasts a highest score of 153 and in 2015 scored 434 runs at 36.16 in the Unicorns Championship.

Stephens has previously represented Surrey through the age-groups and, between 2010 and 2012 featured in 19 2nd XI games for the County. The all-rounder also played a solitary Championship match for Northamptonshire against Hampshire in May 2013.

At club level, he has spent the past few years in the Home Counties Premier League for Finchampstead (2014), Datchet (2015) and Oxford (2016) following stints in the Surrey Championship for Guildford (2010-12) and Camberley (2013).

His highlight in league cricket to date would be his magnificent 134-ball 147 (14x4s, 7x6s) against Camberley back in 2012. Chasing 371 for victory, Stephens having taken 3-wickets in the first innings blasted Guildford to 261-2 before his dismissal. An incredible innings that included 7 maximums, including several switch-hits onto Woodbridge Road.

Stephens is an outstanding talent, who has recently moved to Gerrards Cross (South Bucks) who is now seeking a new club for the 2017 season. He will be a sought after acquisition for any club next summer.
