Jordan Thomas (23) is an Australian first grade quick who has been one of the stand-out and most feared bowlers on the Surrey Championship circuit for 3 of the past 4 seasons. Playing for Cheam (2013) and Ashtead (2015-16), the Port Adelaide (SACA Premier Cricket) seamer has took 95 wickets at 18.51 with three 5-wicket hauls during this period.

This summer of 2017 he has spent it over in Kent with Old Wilsonians and has had another exceptional summer back on the Northern shores and with the ball has snared 38 victims at 13.24 and has chipped in with the bat with 302 runs at just over 23.

In Australia, he shares the new ball with Redbacks' Nick Winter, in a Port Adelaide first grade that features the likes of Tim Ludeman (Adelaide Strikers) and Tom Cooper (Melbourne Renegades / Netherlands). He made his first grade debut in 2013/14, then cemented his spot the following summer with 20 wickets at 22.15. Thomas backed up with a further 23 wickets at 24.68 in 2015/16 to include his maiden first grade 5-for against Prospect District (5-79).

Last Australian summer, unfortunately an injury had hampered his season and the right-arm quick was currently out of action. However, prior to Christmas, he had taken his second first grade 5-wicket haul against Woodville (5-46).

He is seeking a club in/around London and will travel on a UK Ancestry Visa. He boasts plenty of ground work and coaching experience. This added to his likeability as a bloke, makes him an outstanding recruit for any club in 2018. A highly rated option, known to us personally here at CricX courtesy of his Surrey Championship exploits.
