Curtley Louw (24) is a talented all-rounder who comes highly recommended by former South African quick, now Boland Head Coach, Henry Williams. An accomplished batsman and brisk medium-pacer, Louw has played 18 domestic matches for Boland across the three formats since his debut in September 2017.

His provincial debut was a long-time coming, as he has been a stand-out performer for both the Boland Academy and Wellington Cricket Club, with whom he helped to the Premier League title and National Club Championships in 2017/18. He was the Boland Academy “Player of the Year” last summer and, was awarded the same honour for Wellington, courtesy of his run and wicket-taking exploits. Louw also starred for Wellington at National Club Champs and was named in the Team of the Tournament.

To date, Louw has played 6 first-class games and whilst he hasn’t set the 3-day competition alight with the ball, he has impressed with bat in hand scoring 3 half centuries from the middle-order. Louw has, though, shown his undoubted skills with the ball in List A cricket, taking 9 wickets at 25.22 at the point of writing.

The talented seam bowling all-rounder is now looking to play abroad in 2019. He is not only a fine cricketer, but an accredited coach, who is eager to secure a Player/Coach role next summer.
