Devendra Bundela (33) is an outstanding professional cricketer who boasts envious statistics both home and abroad. The former Indian Under-19 all-rounder is approaching a century of first-class matches in a domestic career spanning 14-years. He has amassed over 6,000 first-class and 2,200 list-A runs averaging a tick over 44 and 42 respectively. He has also taken a combined 77 wickets averaging in the low-4s with his brisk medium pace. Bundela has been amongst the leading run-scorers in Ranji Trophy cricket over the past decade. He has enjoyed numerous prolific run-scoring seasons - 1998/99 (1,008 at 77.53), 2003/04 (782 at 65.16), 2004/05 (656 at 50.46), 2005/06 (588 at 49), 2008/09 (347 at 43.37) and he continues to churn out the runs today, with 281 runs at 93.66 in the current season. He has replicated this success abroad, spending seven seasons of the last ten years in English League Cricket. Bundela enjoyed three successful years with Whitehaven (North Lancs and Cumbria League), another three with Darcy Lever (Bolton and District Association) and his final season in 2007 with Blackburn Northern (Ribblesdale League). He has dominated league cricket during this period, with 2005 for Darcy Lever being particularly breath-taking, hitting 1,600 league runs at 145.45 (10x50s, 6x100s) in his 23-innings in addition to 41 wickets at 20.39. Although he didn't reach the dizzy heights of 2005, his last season (2007) resulted in another 579 runs at 48.25 and 22 wickets at 10.55. Bundela, after two seasons wintering in India is eager to return to the UK to play another season's league cricket. He represents one of the most proven and destructive all-rounder's on the professional circuit and this combined with his ECB Level 2 coaching qualification makes him a sought after commodity for 2011.
