Alvaston and Boulton are delighted to confirm the re-signing of Australian spinner, Callum Stow, for their 2024 Derbyshire League campaign.
Stow is a dual Passport holding left-arm chinaman bowler playing for Geelong Cricket Club in the strong Victorian Premier Cricket competition.
A hugely talented tweaker, Stow plays predominantly Premier 2nds for Geelong, albeit has featured in the top flight and is banging on the door for a prolonged run.
Utilising his British Passport, Stow embarked on his maiden UK stint last summer (2022) and impressed for Urmston in the Cheshire County League. Courtesy of his 52 poles at 18, with best figures of 6-37, he was invited to net bowl for several Counties. He then returned in 2023, where he continued to shine, this time for Alvaston and Boulton in the Derbyshire Premier League (54 wickets at 16.76).
An exciting prospect, courtesy of his exploits last summer, A&B were quick to re-sign Stow for his second Derbyshire League stint in 2024.
