Abhishek Goswami is a high quality Indian batting all rounder currently representing Uttar Pradesh in the top level of Indian domestic cricket.
Having represented India Under 19s in his early days, he has now started forging an impressive career and is one of Uttar Pradesh's stand out players. He featured against a strong England Under 19s in February 2017, scoring 66 and 58 in his two matches respectively. The England team featured the like of Ollie Pope, Harry Brook and Will Jacks.
He is now settled in to a multi format role with Uttar Pradesh. He currently has a first class batting average of 49.77 with a top score of 198, a sign of the true quality he possesses. He is also establishing himself in the white ball formats, where he averages around the mid 20's in both List A and T20 cricket. He is by no means a one trick pony and although his off spin is yet to see the light of day in professional cricket, he is a competent operator with ball in hand and would fill an all rounder role in club cricket.
