Alfie Taylor-Clarke is an exciting left-arm fast bowler from Middlesborough, North Yorkshire.
The youngster has spent much of his junior cricket in the Durham County Cricket Club pathway. The tall quick, who is a left-handed middle-order batter has gone on to progress through the county system, becoming a regular in Durham's 2nd XI team throughout the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Bowling with pace and swing, Alfie has been clocked around the 130kph mark and continues to build on that as he develops. With the genuine ability to swing the ball both ways whilst maintaining a good pace, the 19-year-old prospect looks set to make a mark in the professional game.
Across the last two seasons, the paceman had picked up 18 wickets at 26.2 for Durham's 2nd XI, as well as 27 wickets at 23 for club side Middlesborough throughout the 2021 season. After a bright start to the 2022 season, Alfie was averaging just 9.1 with the ball for his county 2nd XI before picking up an injury.
The young gun has now returned to full fitness and is set to embark on his maiden stint abroad having signed with Buckley Ridges for their 2022/23 Dandenong and District Cricket Association campaign.
