Aryan Juyal is a hugely talented wicket-keeper batter who starred, and skippered, the Indian Under-19s, and is now playing for Uttar Pradesh across the three domestic formats.

In the infancy of his senior career, he has impressed hitting centuries in both the Ranji Trophy (first-class), and Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A) competitions.

Such was his talent, Juyal was bought by the Mumbai Indians for the 2022 IPL, albeit he didn’t feature. His selection, though, was evidence of his undoubted potential, rather than T20 performance in his 7 matches to date. However, those who have witnessed his junior career believe he has what it takes to become a superstar.

Juyal first hit the limelight when belting 401 runs from 5 innings, when topping the Vinoo Mankad Trophy run charts in 2017. He was picked to travel to New Zealand for the ICC Under-19 World Cup, before skippering the side on the Sri Lankan tour later during the 2018 calendar year. In November 2019, he was named in India’s squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Asia Cup in Bangladesh, then a month later made his Uttar Pradesh debut in first class cricket.

Juyal has clearly enjoyed a meteoric rise in the game and he is now eager to experience cricket abroad for his ongoing development and push towards full international honours.
