Over the past two seasons, Coveley scored 217 runs at 36.2 (2018) and 265 runs at 26.5 (2019). During this period, he was the School's second-leading run-scorer and culminated with being awarded colours for cricket.

Since school, the British Passport holder has played in the Western Province Cricket Association for Cape Town Cricket Club where he has enjoyed plenty of success. He then spent the 2021 season playing abroad for Drakes Huddersfield League club Armitage Bridge.

Whilst he didn't set the world alight in the league, he was a popular addition to the club who have subsequently decided to re-sign their talented youngster for the 2022 season.
