Bilalahmad Tarin is an exciting batting prospect coming through the Afghanistan ranks.
A prolific junior, Tarin represented Afghanistan in both Youth Test and ODI matches, including the ICC Under-19 World Cup in the West Indies (2022).
He excelled in the ACC Asia Cup and broke into the professional circuit in 2019 making his first-class and List A debuts for Kandahar, and Hindukush Strikers, respectively.
Unfortunately, COVID struck, but he returned to represent Afghanistan during their 4th placed finish at the Under-19 World Cup. He has since moved to represent Boost Region in Afghanistan’s top-tier first-class competition.
It’s fair to say, the talented youngster has quite the future. Not only a run machine, but a useful off-spin bowler to boot. Tarin is eager to push for higher honours, but for now, is keen to explore club cricket abroad for his development.
