Bradley Erasmus is quite the prospect and arguably the heaviest non-County contracted run-scorer in English cricket.
A tall, hard-hitting opening batter, Erasmus has lorded club cricket in recent years, hitting 18 centuries since January 2018, in addition to 3 for the MCC Young Cricketers in 2019.
Playing for Dorking in the Surrey Championship, he racked up 2,314 runs at 70.12 with 13 centuries (2018-19) alongside 1,945 runs at 47.44 with 5 centuries (including a double) playing down under for South Caulfield in the Cricket Southern Bayside Competition.
Erasmus, who is now approaching 50 centuries in all forms of cricket, is a proven performer – dominant with the bat and very handy with the ball in hand (medium pace).
The talented batting all-rounder has prior County experience having represented both Middlesex and Surrey through the age-groups. He made his 2nd XI County debut for the latter as a 16-year-old and averaged 36.50 and 19.40 in seasons 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Two years later, Erasmus featured for Sussex in 5 2nd XI outings, playing in both Championship (30 in his only match) and T20 (85 runs at 21.25) matches.
Last summer, Erasmus returned to Australia for another South Caulfield stint and has remained down under throughout the pandemic. It's envisaged he will return to the UK following his fourth stint with the club in 2021/22, and will be looking for a club in or around Surrey.
