Clarke Doughney is an extremely talented left-arm spinner from Yorkshire, England. Clarke is widely regarded as one of the best finger spinners for his age in the country.

The tweaker has been part of the famous Yorkshire County Cricket Club Academy for the last 3 years, and in more recent times has made his debut for the 2nd XI side, and took a 4-wicket haul against Durham County Cricket Club 2nd XI.

Last season Clarke was picked for the North of England 18s side (a year young) to play in the famous Super 4s, which is the best 50 under 18s lads in the country. Clarke was a revelation and ended up with the most wickets, including a best haul of 5-24.

Outside of his county commitments the youngster plays for Middlesbrough Cricket Club, in the ECB North Yorkshire and South Durham Premier League, having previously played for powerhouses York Cricket Club. He bagged 24 wickets at 21.04 for Middlesbrough this summer, following his 34 wicket (at 25.88) tally for York the previous season.

Clarke is eager to gain a professional contract moving forward, and in view toward his development is set to play for West Newport in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association this winter.
