Connor Lord (28) is a tall right-arm opening bowler from Lancashire, England.
The experienced 28-year-old bowls at good pace and prides himself on his ability to open the bowling and look to take early wickets on a regular basis. Connor is also currently 1XI team captain for his club side Tonge playing in the newly formed North West Cricket League for the upcoming season.
In total, Lord took 51 wickets @ 19.96 in 2022 boasting an economy rate of 4.04. Over the last 3 season the Boltonian has claimed 93 wickets establishing himself as one of the best opening bowlers across the Lancashire leagues.
The experienced Connor is also an ECB Level 2 Coach and is currently the Junior Cricket Coordinator at his club. In 2022, the seamer won the 'Grassroots Coach of the Year' award which was awarded by the Lancashire Cricket Foundation at an awards evening at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
Now seeking a stint in the Southern Hemisphere, the Bolton bowler is hoping to continue his good form of recent years for a club in 2023/24. A superb clubman who will no doubt fit in to any team, Connor is someone we feel can contribute regularly both on and off the field, making him a desirable addition to any teams bowling line up & junior coaching section.
