Danish Aziz is an exciting batting all-rounder whose domestic exploits culminated with ODI and T20I debuts for Pakistan in April 2021.

His call-up was richly deserved following his success in Pakistan’s One-Day Cup in recent years. In 2018, he scored an unbeaten 86, sharing a 192-run partnership with Fawad Alam to help Karachi Whites to the National title. Two seasons later (2020/21), he excelled again, striking 297 runs at 74.25 in the tournament, to earn his National debut.

Alongside his batting exploits, Azim has also excelled with his left-arm spin. At the point of writing, he boasts averages of 18.33, 28.92, and 27 in first-class, List A, and T20, respectively.

The Karachi-born Aziz, who is also an academic, having completed a Masters of Health and Physical Education, is currently playing for Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League, is now eager to play cricket abroad in 2022.

He is set to embark on his maiden stint having signed with Rawtenstall for their Lancashire League campaign.
