The right-handed top-order batter has grown up playing in the Staffordshire County Cricket Club age-group system and represented the Minor County at U19 level. Ethan currently plays at Silverdale Cricket Club in the North Staffordshire & South Cheshire Cricket League.
Since breaking into the 1st XI at Silverdale in 2020, the 23-year-old has plundered 1700 runs in just 58 innings averaging in the mid thirties across all formats. In 2022, he struck 665 runs at an average of 37, including four half centuries and a maiden senior hundred.
As well as been a reliable top-order batter, the Staffs local bowls right-arm off-spin and has picked up 70 wickets for his club side. In 2022, Ethan returned best figures of 4/16 on his way to 25 wickets @ 20.48 in League cricket.
Ethan has now signed for St Michaels Cricket Club in Australia for the 2023/24 Season.
