Haji Murad Muradi is a hugely talented wicket-keeper batter playing for Amo Region in Afghanistan’s first-class competition.

The gloveman, who made his debut during the 2017/18 season, plays for Amo alongside fellow CricX stars Zohaib Zamankhail, Nasir Jamal, and Abdul Malik.

A former Afghanistan Under-19 representative, Muradi was a late-comer to domestic cricket, making his debut in October 2017, in his late 20s. However, he quickly made up for lost time belting 2 centuries amongst 1,266 runs at 43.65 during his maiden 2017/18 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament campaign.

Surprisingly, Muradi has yet to capitalise on his barnstorming start and has only featured in 8 first-class matches since. Nevertheless, he’s set to play this summer (2022/23) and thereafter, is keen to experience a season plying his trade in UK club cricket in 2023.

(Note: Muradi needs to play 2 FC matches to qualify for an ISP visa)
