Harrison May is a member of the UTS North Sydney District Cricket Club (“UTS NSDCC”) having represented the club first in season 2018/19, who has developed a successful career in the NSW Premier cricket as an opening bowler
Harrison is part of the UTS Elite Athlete program where he has taken over 107 wickets for the club in just 4 seasons at an average of just 19.26 with his biggest season being 2019/20 taking 43 wickets with a bowling average of 15.33.
In 2021/22 covid season he was awarded 3rd-grade player of the year courtesy of his efforts with the ball being the leading wicket-taker in 3rd grade with 16 wickets at 23.69 and two match-winning digs of 39* and 35* batting at number 9 against Mosman and Penrith respectively. Due to his strong performances last season he broke into the 2nd Grade side and is hoping to cement his place this coming season and push for higher honours!
Harrison has also represented the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) as an opening bowler at the University National T20 Championships taking vital wickets and averaging an economy of 4.48 runs an over where the team ended up placing 2nd and 1st in 2019 and 2022 respectively .
Before joining North Sydney he had played for 4 seasons at Balmain South Sydney cricket club in the Sydney Shires Competition taking 113 wickets at 18.63 where he was the 2015/16 and 2017/18 bowler of the season with 27 wickets at 18.67 and 35 wickets at 20.57 respectively for the club.
The talented seamer is now set to travel to the UK having joined Chudleigh for their 2023 Devon League campaign.
