Harvey Rankin (21) is a young exciting batting all rounder (leg spin) from Liverpool, UK. The promising youngster plays his cricket for one of the UK’s widely regarded best sides in the country Ormskirk Cricket Club in the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition ECB Premier League.
Harvey is a positive cricketer and has learnt this from a young age, progressing through age group cricket playing for Lancashire Country Cricket Club all the way up until U19’s. Harvey has now looked to take his game to the next level by constantly improving and becoming a mainstay in Ormskirks 1st XI top order. Most recently he has been selected for Leeds and Bradford UCCE as a batting all rounder, where he trains and plays alongside lads trying to gain a county contract.
Over the past couple of seasons, Harvey has made quite the impressions with both bat and ball. Respectively scoring 535 runs last season at an average of 24.32, however most noticeably taking 64 wickets across the past two seasons at an average of 22. Quite the stat for a leg spinner.
Harvey has now signed for Southport Labrador Cricket Club for the 2023/24 Season.
