Henry Dall is an opening batter of some pedigree currently playing in South Australia’s top-flight grade competition (SACA).

A prolific left-hander, Dall plays for East Torrens alongside several State stars, including the likes of Mike Cranmer, and Jake Lehmann. He joined the club in 2019/20 following 3,566 runs at 25.11 in 165 matches for Kensington Cricket Club, with whom he notched up his maiden first grade hundred at the age of 17 (122 v Adelaide University in March 2017).

His ton against a Uni attack featuring Nick Winter (SA/Hurricanes), and Grant Stewart (Kent), capped off a run-filled 2016/17 season which started with his chart-topping exploits for South Australia Under-17s (Sept/Oct 2016). He was one of the Championship’s standouts hitting 300 runs at 50 including a sensational 144 not out against a Cricket Australia U17 side.

A few months later, he would churn runs for SA Under-19s (170 runs at 34) – the first of 3 Australian Under-19 Championships. After a solid 2017/18 tournament (185 runs at 30.83), he would lead the State in 2018/19 hitting a highest score of 109 (v Western Australia) amongst 257 runs at 36.71.

Having enjoyed success for the Browns, to include a 1st Grade Premiership (2018/19), Dall would move to East Torrens for their momentous 2019/20 campaign. Dall would strike 506 runs at 46 (1st Grade), and 273 runs at 39 (One Day Cup), to help his side to One Day glory.

The opening bat has yet to replicate this form since but remains a key figure in East Torrens top-order.

After a 3-year hiatus, Dall is now set to return abroad in 2022 following his run-filled stint in Scotland back in 2018. Playing for Drumpellier, he helped the club win the First Division of the Western District Cricket Union (WDCU) hitting 357 runs at 45.

Dall will link up with Irish club Terenure for their 2022 Leinster Cricket Union campaign.
