Jabari Darrell is a British Passport holding Bermudan international. An aggressive batter and brisk right-arm seamer, he has represented his country (Bermuda) at the Under-19 World Cup qualifiers (aged just 15).

Thereafter, he traveled to North Lincolnshire to complete his GCSE’s at De Aston School where Head of Boarding Andrew Quinlan wasted no time in integrating the exciting all-rounder into the town club (Market Rasen).

Darrell played for Rasen’s 1st XI throughout the 2017 season, with the highlight – a knock of 140 for the Sunday XI, the highest score by a club senior for several seasons. He also achieved the batter’s holy grail that year, hitting six sixes in an over for De Aston.

His club success culminated with Lincolnshire inclusion, where he was subsequently scouted by Leicestershire and signed to the Academy for 2-years.

During this period, whilst he was also studying at Loughborough University, he represented the Foxes Under-17s, Academy, and 2nd XI, alongside several club fixtures for Scunthorpe Town (2018), and Kegworth Town (2019).

However, COVID struck, and a return to Bermuda was the end-result. Therefore, the talented dual Passport holder is now eager to make up for lost time and return to the UK to push for professional cricket.

If his aspirations are set high, it’s perhaps little wonder considering his roots. Dad was an international-class boxer, and now trains out of Miami, while Darrell’s sister competes at a similar level in athletics.

Darrell has a serious passion for the game and aspires to make the Bermudan squad for the next Cricket World Cup. Holder of a UKCC level 2 and Diploma of Sport, Darrell represents an excellent acquisition for any club side next summer.
