Jack England is an up-and-coming seam bowling all-rounder from Devon, England. The young Englishman is a front-line quick bowler and more than handy lower-order batsman.
England has been in/around the Devon CCC set up for a number of years, playing in various age group squads and also being invited to train with the Devon CCC Minor County side, England certainly has aspirations to cement his place in the side in the coming season. Currently the quick plays for Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club in the Devon Cricket League.
Jack is looking to take the 2022 cricket season by storm and follow up where he left off last year. In a season in which he bowled limited-overs, the promising quick took 18 wickets at an average of 25. His best performance came against Seaton Cricket Club where he took 4 for 22 in 9.4 overs, Jack showed glimpses of his frontline attack and we have no doubt he will hit the ground running this summer.
England is also a keen coach and eager to help coach when in Australia. The talented Pom is now eager to spend 6 months playing and training in Australia to improve his game in order to get into Devon County Cricket Clubs' senior side. No doubt a very handy pick up for any club seeking a keen young opening bowler for the Aussie 2022/23 season
