Josh Sullivan (22) is an exciting young leg-spinner from Yorkshire, England

The White Rose Rookie has the ability to spin it both ways with his wicket-taking leg spin, whilst regularly contributing as a solid right-handed batter in the middle order.

Sullivan has represented Yorkshire County Cricket Club all the way through from 10 years old. He then went on to join the Academy at 15, eventually progressing into the first-team squad at the end of the 2019 season. Since then the right-arm wrist spinner has been a regular in the Counties 2nd XI taking 35 wickets at 27.24, culminating with his List A debut for the 1st XI back in August 2021.

The Yorkshireman finished the 2021 season with 3 List A appearances to his name and claimed 5 wickets at 15.80. His career highlight to date is his return of 4-11 in a fixture against Derbyshire at Chesterfield last year. The youngster also hit 158 runs with the bat, averaging 22.57 across all formats for the 2nd XI.

Unfortunately, a back stress fracture hampered the majority of his 2022 season. Nevertheless, the leggy has returned to full fitness and is set to travel down under this winter for game time. He has signed with Terrigal Matcham Cricket Club for their 2022/23 Central Coast Cricket Association campaign.
