A product of the Essex County Cricket Club pathway, Karim spent much of his time playing in the junior set up for Essex and eventually represented the County at 2nd XI Championship level back in 2022. Karim has also represented a number of clubs in the Windwards Islands Region, including Grenada, Dominica,
and St Vincent & St Lucia.
