Koshan Jayawickrama is an accomplished all-rounder, and leader of men, currently skippering Panadura Sports Club in Sri Lankan domestic cricket.
Last summer (2022/23) the Panadura captain led from the front scoring 310 runs at 31.00 alongside 25 wickets at 23.04 in the Major League Tournament.
In a notable fixture against the Sri Lankan Navy last summer, Jayawickrama bowled his side to an innings victory taking 9 wickets – figures of 4-70, then opening up with his spin to take 5-39 in the second innings.
The Sri Lankan all-rounder had previously excelled in both white ball formats, following his return to domestic cricket after two stints in Australia (2018/19-19/20).
Jayawickrama played in Perth for WASTCA (Western Australian Suburban Turf Cricket Association) first-grade club Kalamunda. Over his 2-season stint, the all-rounder bagged 57 wickets at 19.81 (42 of which at 14.38 in 2018/19) alongside 1,068 runs at 28.86 with a highest score of 102.
The Panadura skipper boasts an impressive record, both at home and abroad. He is now eager to showcase his undoubted skills in the UK next summer, in what will be his maiden stint in 2024.
