Mohammad Azeem Dar is an excellent batting prospect who relocated to Pakistan in 2020 to pursue his cricket, having previously represented Scotland through the age groups.

Holder of a British Passport, Dar was a stand-out in Scottish colours. He was Scotland Under-17s "Player of the Year" (2014), and was involved with the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2016.

At club level, he represented Kilmarnock and Poloc in the Western District Cricket Union, with the highlight being named "Man of the Final" in the Cricket Scotland Challenge Cup.

Before his permanent move recently, Dar spent short periods in Pakistan alongside his Scottish national and club commitments. He excelled in the Patrons Trophy (Grade 2) for Brighto Paints (2016) and was rewarded with a first-class debut for Kahn RL, during the 2017/18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Despite regular performances for Lahore in regional cricket, to include inclusion in the Qalandars 'Rising Star' program (2018), not to mention success for Ghani Glass in the Patrons Trophy (2019), this has proved to be his solitary first-class outing to date.

However, Dar's decision to return to pursue full-time cricket in Pakistan has proved dividends, given his inclusion in the Baluchistan side for the Quaid-e-Azam 2nd XI Trophy. He was also involved with both the Kashmir Premier and Pakistan Super League drafts, following his stint with the National Academy, facing up to the likes of Mohammad Amir and Sohail Tanvir.

Dar is keen to return to the UK for a league opportunity in 2022. He is a quality prospect for any club next summer.
