Nduduzo Mfoza is an exciting prospect coming through the KZN Inland ranks in South Africa.
A schoolboy prodigy, Mfoza starred for Glenwood High School (former school of Blackcap’s batter Colin Munro) and represented KZN Under-19s in two Khaya Majola weeks.
Courtesy of his Coke Week, and Dolphins Cub’s exploits, the left-arm spinner was selected for the South African Under-19s in July 2015.
Mfoza would go on to spend two winters with the Dolphins Academy before earning his Provincial debut for the 2017 Africa Cup. Since then, the tweaker has become an integral member of the KZN Inland squad playing 50 plus matches across the three formats.
He has produced excellent numbers, particularly in the T20 format with 18 wickets at 20.05, all with an economy rate of 7.07. Mfoza was also one of Inland’s top bowlers during their pre-COVID 2019/20 List A campaign bagging 10 wickets at 23, again with an impressive economy of 4.50.
An incredibly talented player, Mfoza also doubles as an enthusiastic CSA level one coach who is now eager to secure a Player/Coach role down under for the 2023/24 season.
