Niaz Khan is a potential superstar in the making. A genuine quick, and hard-hitting middle-order batter, he has represented Pakistan Under-19s and is currently playing for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in domestic cricket.

The all-rounder burst onto the professional circuit in some style taking figures of 5-58 (19.1) on his first-class (Quaid-e-Azam Trophy) debut against Sindh, including the notable international scalps of Fawad Alam, Sohail Khan, and Mohammad Hasnain.

In his most recent QeA match (Nov 2022), he evidenced his all-round ability hitting his maiden half-century (65 from 80 balls) against Central Punjab.

Prior to his domestic exploits, Khan had represented Pakistan Under-19s in 3 Youth ODI’s against Sri Lanka (May/June 2019). COVID struck, and he would wait until October 2021 to make his T20 and FC debuts for Khyber.

In Sept/Oct 2022, he would finish inside the top 10 wicket-takers (top 5 seamers) for Khyber 2nd XI in the Cricket Associations Championship (21 wickets at 18.09) to earn a return to the QeA squad. Now the Pakistani all-rounder is looking to cement his spot and push onto higher honours.

The talented youngster is a serious prospect who is looking for his maiden opportunity in UK club cricket next summer. It’s fair to say Khan will be quite a handful, with both bat, and particularly ball in league cricket.
