Nicholas Kent is an exciting right-arm quick from Canberra, Australia.

The young 18-year-old currently plays for Eastlake Cricket Club in the ACT Premier Competition. Capable of bowling upwards of 130KPH, the Aussie prospect has represented his state regularly at both U17 & U19 level in recent times.

After making his first-grade debut at just 16, Nick has learnt from his experiences, often leaning on older members of the playing squad to build up his knowledge. So far this season the right-armer has picked up 20 wickets at an average of 16, impressing across all formats.

Also a right-handed lower order batter, Kent is capable of find the boundary on a regular basis, actively looking to improve his contributions. During the 2022/23 season, Nick showcased his ability, striking a quick fire 21* not out off 13 balls against Victoria. Repeating his heroics, just two days later he blasted 16 off 8 balls, which included two fours and a six against NSW in the State U19 competition.

Now seeking his first stint in the Northern Hemisphere, Kent is restricted to either Holland or Ireland due to his state commitments. A handy right-arm seamer with ambitions to play first-class cricket, he is not doubt a handy pick up for the 2024 season.
