The Englishman is a fluent right handed top order batter who plays from Leicester Ivanhoe Cricket Club in the strong ECB Leicestershire Premier League, which is one of the stronger Premier Leagues in the Midlands. To date Winder has over 1500 runs for the 1st XI, averaging in the late twenties and has racked up 7 half centuries and a high score of 114.
The batter was part of the Leicestershire CCC age group system from the age of 10 right through to 18, and was also part of the Academy but unfortunately didnt get a professional contract. Since leaving the Academy Winder become a fully trained Carpenter and this is something he wants to do whilst away this winter.
Ollie has now signed for Brighton District Cricket Club for the 2022/23 season.
