Sajedul Islam is a high-class pace bowling all-rounder who has lorded Bangladeshi domestic cricket for well over a decade.
Since his first-class debut in 2005, the left-arm quick has taken 300 plus wickets and scored over 2,000 runs from the middle-lower order.
In his prime, he played 3 Tests and a solitary T20I for Bangladesh between 2008 and 2013, however, despite not featuring since he remains a key performer in domestic cricket.
A genuine left-arm swing bowler and hard-hitting batter, Islam is now looking to play global T10/T20 competitions, alongside UK league cricket from 2022 onwards.
He was due to make his English club debut in 2020 and again in 2021, having signed with Devon club Torquay prior to COVID.
Islam is set to make it third time lucky in 2022 having recently signed with Mayfield for their Sussex Cricket League campaign.
