Sajedul Islam is a high-class pace bowling all-rounder who has lorded Bangladeshi domestic cricket for well over a decade.
Since his first-class debut in 2005, the left-arm quick has taken 300 plus wickets and scored over 2,000 runs from the middle-lower order.
In his prime, he played 3 Tests and a solitary T20I for Bangladesh between 2008 and 2013, however, despite not featuring since he remains a key performer in domestic cricket.
He was due to make his English club debut in 2020 and again in 2021, having signed with Devon club Torquay prior to COVID.
Over the past two years, Islam finally ended up back in the UK where he coaches Sussex League club Mayfield during the 2022 and 2023 season.
Moving forward, Islam is now looking to play global T10/T20 masters competitions, alongside returning to the UK to coach.
