With the bat he produced one of his best performances in 2020, scoring five not out in a last-wicket partnership of eighty with Leus du Plooy in the thrilling win against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

Recognised by a call-up to the England Lions, and awarded his County Cap at the end of 2022, Conners appears to have a splendid future ahead of him.
