Samad Fallah is, quite simply, a legend of Maharashtra cricket. The stalwart is approaching 200 matches for the State across the three formats.

During his career, which spans well over a decade, he has taken over 400 wickets with 15 five wicket hauls. Throughout his illustrious career, which dates back to the 2007/08 season, the left-arm quick has been on the national radar with India Green and West Zone inclusion. However, despite lording domestic cricket for one of Indian’s most dominant States, he hasn’t earned the call.

Nevertheless, Fallah has enjoyed tremendous success across the three formats. He has been a reliable and incredibly consistent performer, in both red and white ball cricket.

Like a fine wine, Fallah seems to have improved with age. His 2018/19 season was exceptional – 21 wickets at 29.57 (first-class), 13 wickets at 23.30 (List A) and, 15 wickets at 14.60 (T20) evidence this.

In addition, he has been a star professional for two UK clubs over recent years, namely Colwyn Bay in the Liverpool League (2014-15) and Oxford in the strong Home Counties Premier League (2016-17, 2019).

During his five-season stint, he has taken 266 wickets at 12.88 with 23 five wicket hauls, a strike-rate of 24.89 and an economy of 3.11 runs per over – simply outstanding stats from the overseas seamer.

Whilst known for his wicket-taking exploits on the field, Fallah doubles as a high-class coach, who owns and runs his own coaching business, namely Fallah Cricket Academy. He has coached extensively with his two UK clubs and, having enjoyed a 3-season stint with Oxford, he is now seeking pastures new for the 2020 season.

If your club is looking for a proven professional Player/Coach, then Fallah is someone we’d strongly recommend.
