Sanaullah Khan is an exciting prospect who immigrated to England in December 2021 to pursue his studies and has subsequently secured employment in Worcester.

Prior to relocating, the now Bradford (West Yorkshire) based Pakistani was a promising cricketer who, back in November 2015, toured Australia with the Pakistan U19s playing alongside the likes of current international quicks Muhammad Hasnain and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

A schoolboy prodigy, Khan is a genuine quick and hard-hitting batter from the lower-middle order. He was a stand-out and junior level, culminating with national honours. Following his Australian tour, he became an influential figure for Candyland Department in the Patron's Trophy (Grade II). In fact, he was the leading wicket-taker during their 2017/18 campaign (18 wickets at 20.17).

Following his move to the UK, he played his maiden club stint for Bradford club Hopton Mills. After a slow start to his season, acclimatising to the foreign conditions (11 wickets in his opening 11 matches), he would find his feet and excel, taking figures of 5-43, 4-56, 2-20, and 7-65 in his 4 matches in July. Despite his slow start, Khan would end the Bradford League campaign with 36 wickets at 26.89, not to mention 468 runs at 29.25 including two fifties and highest score of 76 from only 36 balls.

Alongside his stint with Hopton Mills, he was also a stand-out performer for Leeds Beckett University whose 1st and 2nd XI teams won their respective BUCS tournaments.

Last summer, Khan moved to play Division 1 of the Bradford League for Carlton and it's fair to say he excelled. The quick bagged 55 wickets at 17.62 (52 at 17.12 in the league) to finish as the fourth leading wicket-taker. His numbers compare favourably to the likes of first-class professionals Nisar Ahmad (57), Ali Usman (56), and Nasir Totakhil (52) who between them bowled 53 more overs throughout the season. With that bat, Khan struck 279 runs at 13.29 including a quite remarkable 55-ball 96 from number 9 to help chase down Cleckheaton's 190 in 45 overs. He also smoked 50 from 20 balls (4 x 6s) nd 46 from 20 balls (5 x 6s) against Townville and Methley in successive Cup matches.

Having enjoyed an outstanding few seasons in the Bradford League, Khan is now eager to secure another opportunity in 2024, and potentially push for higher honours in England moving forward.
