Shea Gribben is a sharp opening bowler from Melbourne currently wintering in the UK (Wimbledon) ahead of the 2022 summer.
Prior to his move to the UK in 2021, he played for Victorian Premier League powerhouse St Kilda Cricket Club, which plays host to the likes of Peter Handscombe, Nic Maddinson (Australia), Adam Crosthwaite (Strikers), and Jonathan Merlo (Stars).
Holder of a British Passport, Gribben progressed through the St Kilda ranks after representing the Victorian Under-19s (2014/15). He cemented his spot in the top flight throughout the 2018/19 season by taking 23 wickets at 27.35 and continued to enjoy success in 2020/21 bagging a further 38 wickets at 22.79.
Last season, Gribben ventured to the UK, for what was his third stint. Playing for Devon Premier League side Heathcoat, he picked up 26 wickets at 23.27 in all cricket for the club. He had previously bagged 50 wickets at 13.14 for Stockport (2016), before 39 wickets at 23.31 for Wollaston (2019).
Gribben is a talented quick and personal trainer by trade. Equipped with coaching qualifications, the dual Passport holder is seeking a club within striking distance of Wimbledon next summer.
