Shubham Sharma is a high-class batting all-rounder and current skipper of Madhya Pradesh in India’s Ranji Trophy first-class competition.

A powerful batter, Sharma has scored over 1,400 runs with 3 centuries in 32 Ranji matches to date. He also has 19 wickets, 11 of which with an average of 14.63 and best figures of 5-59 against Bengal, taken during the 2018/19 season.

Sharma made his first-class debut during the 2013/14 season but failed to make a major impact till his barnstorming 2016/17 where he struck his maiden century (119) amongst 530 runs at 58.88.

Sharma followed-up with a career-best 196 amongst 440 runs at 36.66 the following season and a further 351 runs at 35.10 to include his third century (101*) last season (2018/19).

The batting all-rounder was named skipper for the 2019/20 season, but a fractured finger hampered the start of his Ranji campaign, albeit he returned to take control early into the New Year.

The talented Indian all-rounder is now keen to embark on a European club opportunity for the 2022 season, following an early departure owing to his mother’s illness in April 2019. Sharma was set to play his maiden stint in the Lancashire League for Crompton, but returned back to India within a week, unfortunately.

A quality professional, who comes highly recommended, Sharma represents a brilliant signing for any club this summer.
